Busy day ahead of me. So I wrote first thing for an hour, looking out this window from time to time. I added a sentence on the first page of the manuscript I’ve been working on for over four years. Then I revised it for forty-five minutes. I couldn’t get it right. I took a five-minute break to check email. When I went back to the sentence, I had it. Crazy. I know it sometimes helps to walk away. I just can’t seem to remember in the moment. On the next three pages, I changed intact to existing (better for so many reasons) and rushed to ran (more what I was going for).
